In March 2022, at the World Cup in Doha, Ivan Kulyak appeared at the awards ceremony wearing the letter “Z” on his uniform, a symbol of Russian military aggression. Later, he also participated in a propaganda concert supporting the annexation of Crimea and the war against Ukraine, held at Luzhniki Stadium.

These actions represent direct and public support for Russian aggression and constitute a clear violation of international sporting principles.
